Weaving in ends on my #crochet #rainbow #hexagoncardigan

I am a little over halfway finished with my #crochet #rainbow #hexagoncardigan! I finished the sleeves this week, and am now working on lengthening the body. After that, I need to edge the front panels and sew in ends, block it, and then I'm done! 🧶

Almost finished with the first panel of my #crochet #rainbow #hexagoncardigan ! Just need to finish the last round of purple and then I can move on to the second panel. I think I will have to extend the width of the back of the cardigan because I have wide shoulders, and I'll also have to extend the length of the body and sleeves. I think I'm going to keep the kimono style sleeve instead of decreasing into a smaller cuff at the wrist.

Started my #crochet #hexagoncardigan today. Shopped the yarn at Michael's last night and I'm fully regretting not including an indigo skein of yarn, so I'm headed back there tomorrow as early as possible so I can keep the momentum going on this project. It's working up so beautifully, I love it. I'm using #loopsandthreads #impeccableyarn

Is... is the Hexagon Cardigan the crochet equivalent of the Baby Surprise Jacket? Because I happened to see one, then spent an hour cutting out paper hexagons trying to figure out how the geometry worked, then gave up and just looked at a video, and it's been more than a decade since I knit a BSJ but I had that same brain-exploding feeling when a mass of fabric suddenly resolved into a recognizable garment.
