Old image of my #Heteroscodra.#maculata #tarantula 'Lilith' for @[email protected]. She was far and away my favourite T at the time (and I had a couple of P. metallica), really docile and so beautiful! Really pleased I didn't get tagged by her, I believe the experience to be 'invigorating'. She must've been mature when I bought her as she never moulted and only lived a couple of years.

#Poecilotheria are ranked 3rd behind #Stromatopelma and #Heteroscodra in toxicity.
Just be smart with them, take precautions at all times regardless of experience, and understand that they are always unpredictable.
I keep only two species - Poecilotheria regalis and metallica. Both females. I am lucky that both of them are fairly visible as well. I have never even once seen any defensive behaviour from either of them.
