#MusicWomenWednesday this week is Portland, Oregon's HERR GOD. They have a couple EPs, one even from May, before the two songs they put out in June here. Some of it's fairly sad.. kind of a bedroom lofi slowcore shoegaze kinda thing. Nice simple songs, catchy as hell. Like a sadder, slower That Dog. Love that tape hiss!

Almost skipped this band after the Mercury’s ‘best #Portland albums’ post described them as “nu-metal, but the good kind” 🙃

Not the foggiest what they meant by that, but #HerrGod turns out to be the loveliest #shoegaze. 🖤
