Maybe I'm alone in this, but I think the Pokemon franchise deserves a Dark Souls style game.
What do I mean by that? No hand holding or linear story. Vague items that dig into the lore. Level design that begs to be explored for each new mystery that unfolds. Brutal combats and dark twists.
Some of us have been playing these games for as long as they've existed and we're over the tutorial heavy/ railroad cut scene beginning...
