#Hemsby village.
Coastal erosion was known about when he moved there, he actually viewed a property that was cheap for a quick sale but rejected it because of its proximity to the sea.
I do feel sorry for the people who have bought properties amongst the dunes and lost them or are in danger of losing them.
I dislike the local tradition of calling them cliffs and believe it to be misleading, they are sand dunes which have no cohesion other than a thin layer of of vegetation. There's practically no protection from the sea.
Estate agents work for the sellers, they have no obligation to the buyer. Caveat Emptor applies most harshly to these properties because most of them are of non traditional construction which makes them just about impossible to secure a mortgage regardless of any erosion problems.
