I wasn't convinced the weather would be suitable for a walk today (it was, but never mind) but I got fidgety and decided to do a reconnaissance run. Turns out Hayfield's dead easy to get to or from Glossop or Stockport and it's a gentle potter about if you want it to be so the Sett Valley Trail's definitely on the to-do list.
