The sad news today reminded me of some other artists I hugely admire, and was fortunate enough to meet and talk to. Gilbert & George notoriously shy away from publicity so it was a rare thing indeed to attend a talk by them at the Hay Festival. At the time I had no money but thought it worth another credit card purchase for this set which they kindly signed for me.
