Just spent a great afternoon at the Harris Museum in Preston enjoying the wide range of local artists (all living/working within 5 miles of the museum) on show at the Preston Open.

A wonderful range of work from the utterly brilliant to the hilariously inept (but charming), as well as some really talented artists & insightful works.

A great couple of hours which I would thoroughly recommend for anyone in the area.

Those of us waiting for the much loved Harris Museum to re-open after its extensive (and long-running) refurbishment, may need to wait a little longer as the chief contractor doing the work has gone bust.

Lets hope that sort it out so this great regional asset can again open & enthral visitors
