After leaving London, Abby connects with an anonymous caller while working at a cooking hotline. The caller is single dad "John" who Abby unknowingly has become smitten with in real life.
The quintessential Hallmark holiday movie from the characters (a London chef who is running away from an abusive relationship with her boss and a widower trying to make the best Christmas for his 10 year old daughter) to the ending in which, I hope this isn't a spoiler, they both change their minds at the last minute and meet on his doorstep...but the chemistry was only so-so and, let's face it, setting a movie in Chicago is just a way of saying you didn't have the budget for America's first city.
3 stars out of 5, probably a good one to have on while baking holiday cookies.
