A happy, well-rounded day in and around #Rockport, #Massachusetts. Explored #HalibutPoint State Park, smelled wild roses, listened to the ocean. Learned about 17th century ironmaking at #Saugus Iron Works #NHP and 19th century granite quarrying at Halibut. Indulged in #lobster bisque at The Lobster Pool, baked scallops at the Fish Shack, and spotted #swisschocolates at Tuck's -- all excellent! A day that includes the outdoors, history, and good food is as much of a dream day as I could ask for!
