Rotting – Crushed (Vinyl)

1998's "Crushed", is rightly considered a gem among the numerous brutal death metal acts that followed. The full-length from Canadian band Rotting proves that it's possible to create excellent material with such an approach and play it to the standards of the genre's masters, without necessarily stretching the boundaries of extreme music.

Bestial Warlust – Demo 1995 (Vinyl)

This is a brief burst of blasphemic violence. War metal is an acquired taste, but for those who worship at the filth-strewn altar of extreme black and death metal, this is damn close to as good as it gets. In fact I have got so heavily into this album over the last day or two that I can recommend this slab of rawness enough!
