Ok, I did get around this issue by using DHCPv6 to configure the interface. Guess I could have configured an address manually. #guixsd #ipv6

To compare #guixsd with #nixos I decided to give it a try. I didn't get past the installer, though. The documentation doesn't give any indication of how to install #guixsd in an #ipv6 only environment. I would need to enable SLAAC to get any network connectivity.

I'm finally replacing my (at least 8 years old) refurbished third generation Thinkpad X1 Carbon. It has been a good tool, but it's starting to show it's age, especially when web browsing..

So I've decided to order an #MNTMN Pocket Reform laptop. It's a two month wait so I'll keep using my thinkpad in the meantime (and probably for a little while after that while I get used to the Reform).

Not sure which OS I'll use on the Pocket, hopefully I'll find a way to get #OpenBSD working on it, but I"m also open to using #9Front, #GuixSD or #Genode SculptOS.

That's it. I've had it with #Guix. I'm going back to #NixOS. I might still use Guix as a package manager, but #GuixSD as an operating system is just not worth the trouble.
