First chayote harvested. It's always interesting when you grow stuff you can't get at normal shops. Thank goodness for Uncle Google. Tastes like a very bland apple so I have dressed it with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, crushed garlic, salt and pepper and I'm chilling it for salad tonight. I like to eat my new produce raw before trying my hand cooking it. I get a better idea of flavour and texture profiles that way

Hard to believe, but last week of November I still had a little harvest of tomatoes…they are slowly getting ready for consumption. I am a very #AccidentalGardener: more failures than successes, yet somehow (it seems) I am grasping what to do to have plenty of 🍅.
