Took a punt on the unfamiliar to me Clockwinders in the Green Note's intimate basement bar last night and had a great time with their blend of country, jazz, and swing.

First gig of the year done yesterday! A lovely evening of sultry soulful jazz in the cosy, welcoming, and intimate Green Note Basement Bar with singer/songwriter Scarlett Fagan and pianist Jay.
No doubt the first of my many visits this year to my very favourite venue!

I need a faster wide lens as as lovely as that space is there is little light.

According to the records office I made 222 gigs across 70 different venues last year with my most attended venues being the Green Note at 44 visits, followed by The Lexington at 18 visits, King's Place and Barbican both at 12 visits, and Jazz Cafe and Cafe Oto at 7 visits each. New personal records!
