After a hard day with time in the dentists special fenced garden, watching a busker in Bourke st mall, then adding our bark to climate protests outside NAB and ANZ banks (funding Santos #Fossilfuels) it was time to head home and dodge some heavy rain at Krispy Kreme at Gowrie with the setting sun.

Forward 30 years to 2023 and #Upfield railway workers & commuters are still waiting.
Still seeking upgrade in frequency from 20 minutes in peak hour, duplication of track from #Gowrie to #Upfield & electric train service onto #Craigieburn & #Wallan for all the residents out there.

Attended community rally this am called by https://upfieldtransportalliance.org/

30+ years ago Upfield train only ran until 7pm and not on Sundays until community organised.

· Duplication of track from Gowrie to Upfield

· Extension of the Upfield line to #Craigieburn and #Wallan

· Rebuilding of #Campbellfield station at #CampRoad

· All buses to run from the first train to the last train

· Extension of the Upfield bike path to Upfield
