Castle Williams Re-opening

Beginning, Saturday, May 23, 2026, Castle Williams will be open to the public, Wednesday through Sunday and Holiday Mondays, from 10am to 4pm. The America’s National Parks Bookstore and the National Parks Passport will be available in the Castle. Seasonal Operations

Governors Island National Monument will be closed this winter. Both Castle Williams and Fort Jay will be closed and access to NPS staff will be extremely limited.
