Am I going mad, or is this a Catch 22 situation?

I'm trying to do the UK Companies House identity verification process and have hit this screen, which appears to be saying that to verify my identity I need to enter the code I got when I verified my identity.

What am I missing?

Funny how often literature is full of things that, if heard, seen, or known, would make you go insane. People sure were afraid of suddenly going insane back in the day. Ironically, they didn't seem to fear being ignorant panicky dimwits, though.

Eine neue Dimension. Der Bundesdatenschutzbeauftragte packt vor den Link auf eine Website mit nervtötendem Cookie-Banner auch noch ein Splash Screen der vor Vorherigem warnt.
Fehlt eigentlich nur noch eine Trigger-Warnung vor der Trigger-Warnung.
