Beyond the Frandy Tree

One of my favoured local strolls starts near the Frandy Tree and continues along the road to the Glen Devon reservoirs.
Yesterday I found my rhythm with the walking poles and grips on the boots; next thing I knew, despite the snow, I was further than I'd strolled before and further than anyone else had wandered with their boot & paw-prints that afternoon, too.
