Roma, 10 gen. (Adnkronos) - "Esprimo la mia più sincera e totale solidarietà al sindaco di Carlentini, Giuseppe Stefio, colpito da un gravissimo e vile atto intimidatorio. Un gesto inaccettabile che va condannato senza esitazioni". Lo afferma la senatrice di Forza Italia Daniela Ternullo. "Giuseppe Stefio —aggiunge- oltre a essere un sindaco, è una persona a cui sono legata da stima e amicizia, sempre aperta al dialogo, al confronto e all'ascolto del territorio. Attaccare un amministratore con minacce di morte significa colpire non solo una persona, ma l'intera comunità che rappresenta".
"Non sono questi i metodi per esprimere dissenso o critica politica. La democrazia vive di confronto, anche duro, ma sempre civile. Ogni forma di intimidazione va respinta con forza. Sono certa -conclude Ternullo- che Prefettura, Procura e Forze dell'Ordine, prontamente informate, faranno piena luce sull'accaduto".
