@lethe If you are looking for a spot to talk about otome on the Fediverse, I have been pretty much unofficially keeping @otomegames alive, albeit under a different account with a very similar username. If you have found a functional place for doing so on the Fediverse, please let me know! We used to have a small amount of people and then they all seemed to become inactive around the same time :(
I did not preregister for this one because honestly, not too into the 3D graphics. They look a little odd to me. Not quite unrealistic or uncanny valley or creepy, but still not quite there. I am also incredibly wary of traditional mobile monetization mechanics that gate you behind a stamina system or tickets or whatever: I am a pay-once-and-play person, maybe with some reasonable DLC for extra story content later. But I am happy that it has more gameplay than just reading and making choices. I enjoy just reading and making choices but I also like regular gameplay. I hope Love and Deepspace's choice to include more traditional video game gameplay (and Jack Jeanne's choice to include rhythm game gameplay) encourages more otome to include more traditional gameplay in the future. After all, I got into video games before otome. I hope you end up enjoying Love and Deepspace!
