The Gilwell Reunion 2025 campfire was last night, & once again was mostly performed by Scouters from Scouts Scotland. Lorna & Alan supported again by Kenny, & this time also by Stacey.
I’ve been at a campfire hosted by the former pair & they get a great response from the youngsters. The latter two are both fairly local. It was nice surprise to see Stacey.

Gillwell Reunion Campfire 2024 in glorious 4K!
This one was mostly performed by Scouters from Scouts Scotland. Lorna & Alan were heavily involved in the campfire at the East Region Blair Atholl training event I attended for my Module 38 a few months ago. Much of this campfire songlist the pair do in this video, they did for us back then. Kenny is from a neighbouring District, but I’ve not met him.

There was a common thread watching that Gilwell campfire. Most of those that appealed to me were performed by Jonathan from the 10th Leicester Syston Scout Group. He was great.
Particular standouts were Penguin, and an original song about Scouting sung to the music of “I Will Survive” written by someone he knows. Knowing there was little chance of the latter being online I transcribed it.
