Lukla is a remarkable place to visit, like a theme park for trekkers. The streets are filled with coffee shops and cheap puffy jackets.

Things are changing though. That remarkable runway is still doing a tonne of traffic but the helicopters are taking over. Lots of people want to see Everest, but not everyone wants to trek there. I'm very lucky to have shared this journey with a group of dangerous adventurous souls, and a handful of yaks.
