Another problem with #photography #geotag process resolved. My sports watch keeps accurate time (NTP synchronised periodically), but my camera's clock might drift a bit (I only set it when I recharge the battery). So when I tried to set the tracks with #GeoSetter, it was often out of whack.
Well, turns out there's an option in GeoSetter that lets me catch up with the camera's clock drift. Doesn't really help me all that much dealing with old photos, but it should help me with recent ones. Would help me if there would be a way to tell the app "I KNOW this photo was taken right about here, around the time of the start of the GPS track - can you figure out the clock drift from that?"
GeoSetter is one of the few pieces of software that gets me irrationally angry because there's *shitloads* of good geotagging functionality (and it should be praised for that!), but the #usability is absolutely godawfully *abysmal*.
