This is a highly prestigious and responsible assignment, at a complicated historical moment. General Vezzoli has a solid military background, gained in complex operational contexts and in leading roles. This is declared by the President of the Regional Council of Veneto, Luca Zaia, in anticipation of the handover of responsibilities with the current commander, General of Division Michele Risi, who has been in office since 2024.
