Missed Tune Tuesday as I thought this posted and didn't. So it's Wednesday, but oh well. I didn't know what 'verdant' meant til I looked it up, (green, lush, I learned something yesterday). The music video is GREAT, too- weird, hilarious shit with Gary dressed all in green and playing ukulele and drums- I first saw it via MTV's 120 Minutes years ago (it was also on a Beavis and Butt-Head episode) but I can't find the full, original music video & the song is all cut up in other places. So the link here is just the full song. Because it's a damn bop.

But it's worth looking up the video though, if you dig the song, and attached here are some images from it, so you can kinda imagine, if you hear this. (Fun fact, that's Thurston Moore from Sonic Youth as the dancing tree to Gary's right.)
