First of three new projects released: The #GalDiskII, sponsored by #PCBWay (thanks!)

An #Apple2 Disk II controller clone using a PLD in place of the P6A PROM.

It does away with the transistors used to turn on/off some ICs and introduces a few quality-of-life improvements I wanted (mainly the ability to configure it for the FloppyEmu dual-drive emulation mode).

It was built to help me test my P6A to 22V10 conversion, and is now the controller of choice for my //e clone.

Enjoy, it's free for everyone!

#GalDiskII tested with a real floppy drive, both as first and second drive, both read and write.
It works.
Time to get it released.

And sorry for the mess!

Quite busy and tiring day. Loads of work in the country.
I planned to test the #GalDiskII with a real drive in the evening but I can't really find the energy now. Getting to it tomorrow, probably.

I'll start preparing the repo for release, instead. Regenerating the new rev.1 gerbers, writing the readme, cropping pictures...

Ok, this is the first revision for the #GalDiskII .

It mostly follows the same component placement I used for the TK2000 disk drive controller.

This will allow me easier testing with my GAL22V10 replacement for P6. And hopefully some experimentation with replacing the 'LS323 shifter with a '299.
