Here's a collection of laptops in time for Christmas! "Primal Fear" has two Compaqs: an LTE Elite and Starring-the-Computer debutante Contura 400. "Coneheads" has a Toshiba T1000LE and "In the Mouth of Madness" has a GRiD 2260. Finally a couple more debutantes: a Dell Latitude D630 in a "Cobra Kai" episode and a Panasonic Toughbook CF-Y7 in an episode of "Burn Notice".

I love it when something lands right smack dab in the intersection of one or more of my personal interests. I spotted this in the amazing book, "David Grove: An Illustrated Life".

This painting is for a 1984 Learjet annual report. And I'm 99% sure that the laptop being used here is the GRiD Compass, an absolutely fascinating early laptop computer that shows up in *all sorts* of stuff.
