Because #Americans have no real memory, this is the cycle:

1. #GOP #POTUS ruins the economy somehow.
2. Succeeding #Dem fixes the problem.
3. Because much of the Dem presidency was fixing the hideous problem they inherited, it wasn't rainbows and unicorns the whole time, so the #GOPPropagandaMachine makes a ton of hay out of how much things suck.
4. People believe the #BS and vote for the GOP again.
5. Goto Step 1.
