We are excited to welcome Marina DiStefano to #GHGAtalks today! She will talk about "The Gene Curation Coalition: A Global Effort to Harmonize Gene-Disease Evidence Resources"!
DiStefano argues for curated gene-disease databases. As for some diseases different diagnostic panels are available - the number of genes these include however varies, demonstrating that standards and consensus is needed, for which genes are valid disease genes.
