Im Forum stellen wir immer wieder fest, welche Schwierigkeiten User mit der Anpassung eines Block Themes wie Twenty Twenty-Four haben. Da diese Frage wieder mal im Forum gestellt wurde, zeige ich nachfolgend, wie man z. B. eine neue Startseite bei Twenty Twenty-Four erstellt und ein Template für diese Startseite gestaltet. Der Beitrag gehört zu einer Serie zur Anpassung von Templates.
@janboddez Thanks for the suggestion, but I try to use as few plugins as possible and stick to vanilla WP. Years ago, a few free plugins deprecated on me, and it just wasn’t worth the hassle. I do subscribe to a few fee-based plugins.
My TT4 migration is causing many significant changes for FSE, plus the learning curve. So better to bite the bullet and do it now while I still have the cognitive ability. 😁 #wordpress #FullSiteEditor

So as an experiment, my wife and I have been building a complete site (with just a few pages, basic site with content and some contact forms) all with FSE.
And let me tell you that things were *dire*. It strained our relationship, we had a fight over losing work, she ultimately designs in Canva and I help her make blocks out of that. It’s just easier..
And I’ve written way more CSS than I imagined I would have to.
Playing around with the #WordPress #FullSiteEditor and I'm hurting for something like a "link to post" block to use within the query loop block-- so multiple elements could be nested within the link to the post.
Maybe the group block could gain an extra toggle when used in the query loop.
