Hot enough for ya?
Spent all morning finishing up the garden (and I am taking zero comments about my ability to plant in a straight line, especially during pride month) then somehow got roped into helping with a woodworking project.
I have negotiated for snow cones afterwards because itβs hot outside and I deserve a treat.
It's been over 45c since about 10am. Currently just saw 48.1 at 11:10am. I just went out to spray down the chicken coop and the quail cage to help them cope. Holy shit it's hot.
Broke another climate record... 51.5C. This isn't the regular outside temperature, it's because you have to have a cyclone proof colourbond roof when you live in the tropics and the design of my house means I have a sloped roof radiating additional heat into my bedroom window. The 38.6 temp is the inside part of the same wall, witht the aircon running the room temp is under 30.
50C outside my window so much for climate change
Least we don't need to worry about retirement since the Climate Wars of 2028β’ will kill us all. πβ
