And that's the end of #FringeTV

Great show, can recommend. A few missteps and weirdness in characterization, and you can plainly see where much of its inspiration comes from. But overall it works.

The season 5 turn still doesn't quite sit well with me, however I can't say I'm not satisfied with the result and the series' closure. (it still reeks of the kind of thing they did with Lost, tho)

As stated earlier, my next show while working will be Alien: Earth!

let's see... what to use for a tag...

#alienEarth I guess?

I don't know why it amuses me so much when the #FringeTV team uses event stuff as weapons. Cuz that shit freaky.

But it does.

"Why would I need to shoot observers with the bullets that make you float away?"

"...Because it's cool. :3"

I do appreciate the subtle(?) dig #FringeTV throws at generic workplace fashion by showing the supposedly highly evolved humans (Observers) of 2609 uniformly wearing a suit, tie, and hat, even at home.

So a few episodes ago, Peter took the tech implant from one of the Observers (after torturing him) and implanted it in himself, steadily gaining Observer powers and attributes including precognition and zippy movement and strength (and moving through dimensional portals). It's messing up his humanity though, naturally.

Also something I noticed: The Observer occupiers act in way that seem weird. Like, they can basically teleport anywhere they want, but they'll still use cars and wait at crosswalks. Iunno, maybe the abilities are more of a strain than one might think.

They are, after all, only (super-future) human.

Tonight on #FringeTV: Ah heck they brought out the Bowie (man who sold the world). Shit's getting real.

Oh that's cute. Walter made a pocket universe to hide the empathic kid from season.. 1? Or around then. It's an apartment building where reality doesn't work quite like it should. Naturally.

Anyway the cute part is the doors have symbols on them. Those symbols? The random things that have been used throughout the show whenever it went to commercial break. (the five fingered hand, the apple, the buttermoth, the flower with the dragonfly wing petal, etc.

Tonight on #FringeTV:

Walter: "Hey remember all those events from the last four years? I collected a few. hehehehe. let's go make mischief :3"

Tonight on #FringeTV

Walter sees a painting of a dragon, on a concrete column in the steam tunnels beneath harvard

Walter: "Heyyyy, I've been looking for you!"
