I'm not sure why, but #Krita is much snappier than #Inkscape on my ZorinOS Starfighter. On the Mac, Inkscape has no issues at all, but on my super powerful Linux machine it's laggy and has issues.
#PenPot is becoming a strong contender for me now though. I've become used to the "endless canvas" concept from Figma and Miro that my employer uses – and PenPot has that same concept.
Have you ever used a word (ironically or in jest) so much, that it becomes part of your (unironic) vernacular?
That happened to me with "reckon" a few years back.
So I'm going to start using "riot" the way my Mom did. She said it all the time, but like: "Oh that Martin Short, he's such a riot!"

Some musings on taking until 9pm to write a post and the importance of little steps...
My biggest worry about the computer industry is that a lot of people in software don't understand how computers work at the lower level, and so those skills will become less prevalent. But we will still need people who can understand, make secure, and fix bugs on them and the people capable of doing that will become more scarce.
Personally I feel very lucky now to be working every day with JVM developers who have many skills in that area. #fridayMusings
