Out this morning with Ouseburn Trust in the Lower Ouseburn Valley, taking river water samples and chemically analysing them, as part of Earthwatch FreshWater Watch / Great UK Water Blitz

Completed the sampling and testing of river water in the Ouseburn as it exits the culvert into the Lower Ouseburn Valley on behalf of the Ouseburn Trust. Part of #GreatUKWaterBlitz with citizen scientists across UK. 11.4mm rainfall so far today, but only 2 storm overflows had started flowing shortly before (one upstream and one downstream, see https://www.malmanac.uk/), so probably don't affect measurements.
