The only easy thing is they sometimes give alternatives for longer words. But interviews with foreign contributors are full speed.

For a paid app, I used #Frantastique until they ran out of lessons around A2 or B1.

You mean by text? Keep it simple, use what you know.
Use the French keyboard layout on your phone, the autocorrect might help.

Tenez-le simple, utilise ce que vous savez déjà.

If in doubt paste your French into Google Translate and see what English comes back.

Don't try it speaking in real life, surest way to get a crinkled face response 🤔

#Frantastique is good, #Duolingo probably better suits US English speakers, I find the Americanisms distracting and almost misleading.

Thanks, I had been wondering about whether to do #French #language with #Duolingo. I got up to level B2 with #Frantastique and stopped after repeating the #lessons.
