The side-hinged E-Type hatch featured yesterday (maroon car) found its echo in the Jaguar C-X16 concept car, which I snapped at the unveil to journalists on the eve of the #FrankfurtMotorShow in 2011 - the detail shot of the hatch is a Jaguar press photo. The C-X16 became the F-Type with few visual changes, but the production vehicle (blue-grey car, #TechnoClassica 2014) had a conventional hatch rather the E-Type-inspired side-hinged item. #Jaguar #WeirdCarMastodon #davidsdailycar
