Also on our walk today, we had a look at this amazing fossil footprint. This is the footprint left by a Chirotherium or "hand-beast" in 270 million year old sediments. There are a few places on Arran where you can see giant reptile prints like these. https://www.scottishgeology.com/geo/scotlands-fossils/triassic-reptiles/
