The Fort Hill Tower, also sometimes know as the Cochituate Standpipe, 22-98 Fort Ave, Roxbury MA as photographed from Buck Hill. Thanks to the Boston Preservation Alliance for hosting an open house last month. We got to climb to the top and take some photos looking back at the Blue Hills Reservation (though visibility was not great) and take some close up photos from the park.
This bearing looks out over Fenway Park, although I do not believe any part of the ballpark, itself is visible. I do wonder if there was a time when it could be seen.
This photograph is dense with detail that can be identified. I have spent quite a bit of time on this, but there is still much that I can't figure out. Perhaps, I will be able to get better imagery this winter.
