I would like to write a letter to my newly elected city council rep, about him not supporting a plan for center lane dedicated buses.
I keep reading news articles in which he says the most car centric claptrap.

Not for the busses, and the people who ride them.
My street isn't parked up, is that because of school vacation? People taking off the same week as their kids?
It looks like a car blocking a T stop got towed. That's great!
And yes, there were other spaces available.
In my unscientific survey people who park illegally are just lazy. It's seldom the result of not enough parking spaces.
