Into ep 5 of #kDrama #IdolI and really enjoying its analysis and commentary on fandom, the K-ent industry and parasociality. Which is just as well, because as a legal thriller, it's 1000% risible. Clearly #ForestOfSecrets set the credibility bar so high that a #kDrama in which the biggest legal mystery is "how has she not been disbarred, charged and convicted?" is not going to cut it

#OkitegamiKyōkoNoBibōroku - that I've watched 5 times in the last 12 years kinda proves that 😀

A case of the week mystery series, with a sweet slow/no burn romance (and the greenest of green flag MLs) , the REAL mystery of the series is "who is she, and how did she end up as she is? NEVER answered. 😢

@EllenInEdmonton When I started #DivorceAttorneyShin it took me nearly 3 episodes to RECOGNISE the lead. A testament to what a great job he did in #ForestofSecrets, especially since he really IS that musical IRL

For the fans of #Stranger and #ForestOfSecrets #kdrama, I’m happy to say that the ML is equally interesting in #DivorceAttorneyShin, a concert pianist who becomes a divorce lawyer to avenge his sister’s unfair divorce. The bromance with his buddies is delightful. No #BaeDoona, sadly.

@s1m0n4 S2 won't happen without Netflix since S1 ONLY happened because of Netflix. The domestic situation in SK made the show unairable for so long that Netflix was TVN's saviour for S1, if NF won't pony up for S2, it's safe to say it's dead given the state of #KDrama financing.
multi-season #KDrama w/ the ONLY exception in 13 years has been #ForestofSecrets, I loathe thw idea of getting invested and waiting for something that may never happen -especially if S1 ends by hinting at an S2

Drama Recs Challenge Day 3

At bsky, I used #KDrama #ForestOfSecrets for #DramaRecsChallenge Day 3, "a gripping thriller".

But that Drama is so exceptional it's going to be featured a lot, and already has been, so here at my preferred SNS home, a road less travelled.

This #TWDrama, MARS (note the caps) is an undervalued gem, recently getting some attention after the death of the FL from a pneumonial infection in her mid-40s
