A court in Portugal on Monday convicted the hacker Rui Pinto behind behind the biggest leak in football history, sentencing him to a suspended four-year prison term.

His "Football Leaks" revelations exposed dodgy dealings in international football.

He shared 18.6 million documents on the internet and with a consortium of European newspapers, which published details. The revelations shook the football world.

The combined sentencing on the other charges, adds up to four years of prison for Rui Pinto for the full slate of charges.
