I turn 62 in 2026 and it might be retirement time for yours truly. At least from the current job, even as much as I enjoy writing. We’ll see.

There's lots of those friendly people
They're showing me ways to go
But I never want to lose their inspiration
Time for a Cool Change
I know that it's time for a Cool Change
And now that my life is so prearranged
I know that it's time for a Cool Change

Sometimes, it’s just nice to sit here on deck on pleasant evenings like this and just … chill.

Great Albums - 1970s: #LittleRiverBand#FirstUnderTheWire (1979). Keeping it chill in Melbourne, this group fused Little Feat with Eagles harmonies, scoring two US Top-10s with “Lonesome Loser” (dare you not to sing along!) and “Cool Change” (light the campfire—so what if it’s winter!). A rootsy alternative to the bristlier sounds emanating from Oz in the 70s, this group tilled solid ground as Air Supply fired up the yacht.
