Good Morning #Caledon
Woke up to a light covering of snow and reasonable temps - minus 1C. Still looks pretty because there isn't enough to force me outside to shovel.
Seeing reports of cars in ditches all over our area and happy to be retired with nowhere to go. Might get out for a hike.... might lay on the couch and watch TV.
So the 'white stuff' finally came to #Ottawa today.
My plans for the annual trip to the #office to jack in to the network for overdue updates will not happen today.
My general rule, even though I love #snow: Don't leave your house on the #FirstDayOfSnow in Ottawa. Somehow our collective IQ drops. We forget how to drive, sidewalks are treaterous, #OCtranspo busses transform into monsters and the #OLRT steel railway turns into snakes
This too shall pass and in a couple of days we will be ok.
