I remember trying out one or two of the original #FinalFantasyLegend #SaGa games for the #GameBoy a long time ago, but never played them to any significant degree. My 3 hours with this demo is definitely the most time I've invested in one.
Mixed feelings on it. Gameplay was perfectly fine, and the art looked good aside from the one-note female character designs. My character selection did nothing, tho'?

I decided to restart Final Fantasy Legend now that I have a vague idea of what I'm doing and I'm thankful for all the people who have scanned in old game manuals and uploaded them to archive.org because that era of games did not have the storage or screen space to hold your hand and tell you what to do. When I was a kid I'd read the manuals first and now I remember why.
