Recently, A’s ownership went for max profits by slashing payroll and raising ticket prices. Then, tried to skip paying stadium rent. Then tried to blackmail Oakland for a new stadium. I bailed.
They’ve started this season 10-44. The worst start since the 1932 Red Sox.
They’ll get a $1.5 billion stadium, with at least $380 million in public money, in Las Vegas, anyway.
