Because of the specific use of “AI” in this toddler era of machine learning, I wonder how many first time readers of fiction will have an out of context bias of the “AI” discussions in those stories.

Will it largely depend on how well each author world builds, creating and describing their version of AI, which will determine how easily these readers can unlearn, albeit temporarily, the present uses of “AI”?
