Although I have a dog friend and post about her on #Pixelfed, I bet there are many more posts about cats.

Dieser Impact auf allen Ebenen kommt ja nicht von ungefΓ€hr. Ich war damals noch nicht aktiv im Fedivers, daher meine Frage. Immer wenn ich mit Menschen die Reichweitendisussion fΓΌhre sage ich "Ey schaut mal 18.000.000 Nutzer und 1.500.000.000 BeitrΓ€ge. Was willlst Du eigentlich noch mehr?"
Dann kommt: "Ja, aber was ist denn da im Sep.24 passiert? So volatile Netze will ich nicht bespielen."

I `tootctl remove media` 'd a dozen GB or so from the media cache for 2023, 30 days at a time, and kept tally. The handful of users on this small instance filled a little over a GB of media cache each month in 2023.
