The #FederalCreditUnionAct was signed in 1934 on #ThisDayInHistory, establishing non-profit coöperative banks. We could have built on this, using #USPS for some #PublicBanking rôles and making #CreditUnions universal by abolishing #usury. The tyranny of finance must be ended.
