2023 movie viewings, #4. It's Neil Breen Week around here at my place, and today I watched movie #3 of his five-film (soon to be six) remarkable run as "the best terrible movie producer of our generation." This one is particularly well-known as Breen's "breakout" film into mainstream awareness (this was his first movie to actually show in theaters, as well as in the midnight programming of such respectable events as the Seattle International Film Festival), largely because of Breen riding the coattails of the massive amounts of publicity Tommy Wiseau's similar The Room was getting in these same years.
