LeoniekeWith our current geopolitical mess, I find that I really enjoy reading fanfiction again, but there are some things that will make me abandon a story very quickly.
Do you have any major reasons which make you stop reading a fanfic?
Mine are (in no particular order, totally incomplete):
- unbeta'd grammar (main peeves: your vs you're, or defiantly vs definitely) (I can sort of read around moving verb tense, but barely)
- incorrect spelling of main character names
- unannounced Mary Sue
- completely OOC
- secret break up of OTP
